an event update from Form the Future

Due to the ongoing impact of Covid on schools and students, we are pausing all ‘live’ events within individual schools (both in person, and online) for the foreseeable future.

In their place, we’re excited to commence a new programme of virtual evening events that will be open to students at all schools that we work with.

Our volunteers remain at the heart of what we do – and we’ll continue to rely on them and our business partners to ensure that these events offer quality, meaningful engagements between learners and employers.

More information on these events will be shared on the website soon, as well as through our volunteer mailing list. If you have not yet registered with us as a volunteer, please do so, and we will be in touch as soon as possible with details of how you can support the young people that we serve.

Insights into Careers in Construction

The content shared should look to encourage young people to think about how their school subjects relate to careers and which core transferable skills are required in different industries, helping them to consider how they can develop their skills for the world of work and their career ideas more broadly.
