It’s awards season – not the BAFTAs, the Grammys or even the Oscars. Here in Cambridge it’s all about the Business Weekly and Cambridge News & Media Business Excellence Awards. Form the Future is a finalist in two categories.
We were delighted to learn we’d made the short-list for the Allia Social Enterprise of the Year in the Cambridge News & Business Business Excellence Awards. But we were thrilled to discover we had also made the shortlist of the Business Weekly Cambridge Judge Business School Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, with Anne Bailey and Michaela Eschbach, our founders, being considered as a pair.
This last year has been one of phenomenal growth for Form the Future. We are supporting more young people than ever – more in the last six months than all of the previous year. We’ve won new contracts in competitive pitches. And we’ve built an amazing mentoring programme with almost 100 students benefiting from a mentor drawn from our network of inspirational professionals. Sometimes we take this all for granted but these awards have given us a chance to stop, reflect and appreciate how far we’ve come. Whether we win the top prizes or not, we’re just happy to be considered alongside so many other talented people.
