ACTIVATE YOUR FUTURE
Form the Future is proud to be partnering with the CPCA to deliver Activate Your Future, a pilot programme forming part of the CPCA’s Youth Guarantee Trailblazer. This initiative is designed to support young people aged 16–21 by giving them meaningful opportunities to explore career pathways, build confidence and develop practical skills that lead towards employment.
Through strong partnerships and tailored support, we’re offering up to 150 young people the chance to take part in structured experiences that are both engaging and future-focused. The programme brings together employers, training providers and career professionals to create supported pathways into work.
Programme Editions
Participants can engage with one of three distinct editions, each designed to provide insight, experience and transferable skills:

Step forward
Delivered by Form the Future, this one day workshop will focus on building essential employability skills and explore real opportunities into education, training or work in a range of sectors.
The programme opportunities include:
- Access to employment support workshops
- Dedicated time with a trained careers professional
- The chance to earn a digital badge, to add to your CV & LinkedIn

Fitness
Delivered in partnership with Fitness Rush, this six-week pathway provides hands-on experience within the fitness industry, combining practical learning with targeted employability skills support.
The programme opportunities include:
- Weekly fitness sessions with industry professionals.
- The chance to earn a Level 1 fitness qualification
- CV writing and interview skills to plan your next steps.
- The chance to earn a digital badge, to add to your CV & LinkedIn
- Ongoing 1-1 support post program

healthcare
In partnership with Cambridge University Hospitals, this pathway offers young people the opportunity to explore careers within the health and care sector.
The programme opportunities include:
- Paid work placements at Cambridge
- Training, including First Aid, which can be applied to different roles going forward
- 1:1 support with a careers guidance professionals
- Insightful overview of the different careers within the NHS
- The chance to earn a digital badge, to add to your CV & LinkedIn
Wrap around Support
The programme will cover Cambridge, Peterborough and Fenland and be open to those, not in work or in very insecure work, with barriers including homelessness, disability and mental health challenges, involvement with the criminal justice system, care leavers and those who previously qualified for free school meals.
To ensure the programme is accessible and impactful, every participant receives tailored support throughout, this may include help with travel costs, childcare and access to paid work placements
