It’s National Apprenticeship Week #NAW2022 and the theme again this year is ‘build the future’. The weeklong celebration brings together apprentices and businesses across the country to focus on the positive impact of apprenticeships.
Apprenticeships are a great way to help young people to navigate from education to employment and develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career. And for businesses, employing an apprentice is an effective way to grow and develop a talented and qualified workforce that is equipped with future-ready skills.
At Form the Future we deliver apprenticeships on behalf of The Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP) – building and maintaining connections with employers, schools, young people and training providers to increase the number of apprenticeship opportunities across Greater Cambridge.
Throughout the week, Form the Future will join in the celebration of apprenticeships by running events at:
- North Cambridge Academy event with guest presenters Price Awuah of Cambridgeshire Police and Michael Clarke from The Army
- Saffron Walden County High School with other local businesses
We will be showcasing some of the talented apprentices that we have supported and highlight some of the employers across the region that support a variety of apprenticeship roles so please follow us on social media to find out what’s happening in our area this week and to join in the celebrations.
