Career Insights – Elisa Barber, Electronics Engineering Consultant, TTP

If you want to spend your time inventing things, a career in engineering might be for you!

In the next instalment of our Careers Insights series with Cambridge Ahead, we hear from Elisa Barber, Electronics Engineering Consultant and TTP. Elisa dreamt of being an inventor when she was younger – and by combining her interests in science, maths and design, found that a career in engineering was perfect for her.

Form the Future is delighted to support this project. We help young people find their route through education into employment, and what better way to do so than to showcase a world of possibilities on our doorstep. Information about the world of work and a range of different pathways, growth areas and opportunities, strengthens young peoples’ capacity to make informed decisions and positive transitions. Ultimately, this is about inspiring young people to think about and plan their next step.

Cambridge Ahead is passionate about the importance of young people getting the best possible education about career opportunities available to them and highlighting the various pathways they can take into work. In order to support this objective, raise career aspirations and broaden horizons for young people, Cambridge Ahead has produced this series of videos for use in schools and colleges across the region and beyond.
